Trent can offer an in-depth analysis to navigating video-preference on social media algorithms such as Instagram, Youtube Shorts, and TikTok. Trent can offer examples on how to develop labour strategies condensed into 15s-60s videos for youth, how to turn engagement into action… AND how to track it. This workshop will explore petition or letter writing campaigns and linktree (or alternatives), how to create a successful (and engaging video), how to maintain an audience and keep up with posting, why I think social media is important- and why you should too!
Trent Daley has called Edmonton home since 2011 and is a 2020 graduate from the University of Alberta having completed a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Sociology. Trent was awarded the ACGC Top 30 Under 30 for 2022. Trent received an appointment for the Anti-Racism Advisory Committee to the City of Edmonton in February 2020 and served as Vice-Chair in 2021. During his free time, Trent enjoys walks in the river valley with his wife, Maria, sons Ilyas, Yusuf and daughter, Ranya.
