Changing the Narrative: Telling stories on social media to build solidarity and increase your bargaining power

Room:  Niagara

Through case study examples, this workshop will explore the ways workers are using social media and the power of their own stories to change people’s perception of unions and the power of organizing and collective bargaining, and how your union can use social media to build support and solidarity while organizing workers or during difficult bargaining negotiations.
