CALM CONNECT will bring together digital creators, union communications representatives, union leaders and not-for-profit activists to meet one another, learn from each other and create connections. Over the course of an evening and a day, you will have the opportunity to learn skills, network, find out who are the experts in an area that you’re interested in, and sharpen tools to make your content even better.
Who is this for?
Any progressive content creator, on any platform and with any number of followers, who has an interest in learning more about the union movement, social policy, politics and social change. And, who would like to meet other progressive creators in real life and help non-creators understand the world of content creation.
Any union or progressive not-for-profit representative that wants to learn more about content creation, how creators develop their content and in what format research and communications from unions can be most helpful to get the word out about workers’ issues.
Any progressive person who wants to break the isolation that comes with working online to meet others doing similar work as they are.
